What Can & Cannot Be Shipped?

Have you ever ordered something through a package forwarding company and then were notified that it isn’t able to ship via air freight? Well, hopefully this blog will help alleviate some of the frustration and help you to avoid this situation in the future.

Prohibited Goods:

  • Alcohol & Coffee: Generally prohibited in most countries and restricted in others.
  • Animals and Agriculture: Live animals, fish or plants. Including dried flowers, tobacco, roots, wood etc are restricted in some countries.
  • Combustible/Flammable products: Nail polish, paints (non-water based) oils, lighters & matches.
  • Furs, Skins, Animal Parts
  • Gambling & Lottery: Games of chance items including tickets, games and devices.
  • Government ID/Uniforms: (Whether real or costume) ids, uniforms and badges are prohibited.
  • Hazardous Materials: Chemicals, fuels & fertilizers, explosives. Adhesives, sealants and pastes could also be hazardous.
  • Medications: Prescriptions whether for human or animal. Most non prescription medicines are prohibited and would also include RogaineĀ®, male enhancements and pet meds.
  • Perfumes & Colognes: Prohibited in most countries but allowed in some.
  • Political & Pornography: Restricted in most countries, but prohibited in all Muslim countries.
  • Pressurized Cans: No pressurized cans of any type. Including bug spray, spray pain, shaving cream and hairspray.
  • Tactical Equipment: Any ITAR regulated item and including night-vision goggles, lock pickers, optical scopes, body armor and laser sights.
  • Weaponry & Parts: Guns. Including paintball guns, stun-guns, airsoft guns, gunpowder, ammo, gun parts & components, pepper spray and any ITAR regulated items.

Most everything else should be fair game and this list will serve as a guide of what cannot be shipped through
